How I Became an Executive Coach
I never thought I would become a coach. It sounded fluffy, frilly, and soft.
I spent my childhood and young adult life working hard to become a professional actress. In my early twenties, I realized success as an actress was not nearly as possible as I thought.
I moved to the Bay Area to follow my love of technology just as the dot-com bubble burst all over my face. Thankfully, I found a job at a tech startup that gave me experience wearing a lot of hats and working at multiple levels within the organization.
So how did I end up being a coach?
I’m often asked this question. The truth is I never tried to become a coach.
